Why We Started

Staging should not be reserved for only the highest-priced homes.

Before n Beyond Staging is a sister-founded, owner-operated studio serving Airdrie, Calgary, Chestermere and Cochrane. The idea grew from years spent around the stronger staging culture in the Toronto market and a belief that thoughtful presentation can help buyers understand a home's scale, function and character.

After relocating from Ontario to Alberta, Sarv saw an opportunity to make professional staging more approachable for everyday sellers—not only luxury listings and builder show homes. The goal is simple: offer practical, design-aware solutions that respect the property and the client's budget.

Meet Sarv Co-Founder
From Engineering to Interiors

A career built on planning.
A business built on design.

Sarv is an engineer by education with more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain. As her career progressed, she developed a strong foundation in planning, network strategy and cost optimization—skills she now brings to every staging project.

Her design eye developed through years of hands-on staging work in Toronto, where she supported projects part-time for approximately three to four years. She has continued to deepen that knowledge through interior-design publications, staging resources, blogs, articles and close study of how homes photograph and how buyers move through a space.

In 2024, Sarv stepped away from her corporate career to pursue staging and interior furnishings full-time. Her approach combines warm, natural styling with disciplined planning: understand the property, identify the rooms that will make the greatest visual difference, and use the right mix of scale, texture, colour and function.
